Skeleton Warrior - Showcase

Hi there,

Here you'll find some pictures (and turnaround!) of my last model.
The original idea was to try to design a character that would combine both sci-fi and fantasy elements, as I find this kind of merger very challenging.

I also learned a lot of new techniques : the hi-poly model is 99% zbrush, mainly using polygroups, panelgroups, split brushes, and "Polish By Feature" (just a couple of IMM tri-brushes were made elsewhere). The texturing instead was done after studying a bit more about PBR and learning how to use Substance Painter and Designer. Final renders were made in Marmoset.

And here  a couple of turnarounds from the hi-poly.

Skeleton Warrior - "Release Candidate 1.0"

Hi there, I am trying to put together one still and finally move on the next character.
At home I don't have a calibrated monitor, so I will have to test it on several devices to be sure that the image will not be too black.
I will also improve some details on the background, before declaring it finished.

Texturing - part II

Second texturing day!
I have to say that new tools like Substance Painter and Designer greatly improved my workflow's speed :)

Texturing - part 1

Long time I don't post an update!
Summer, work, and the lack of 4K maps support in Substance Painter I guess :)
Here I started to put together the basic palette on the body.
I will soon expand the same concept to the head, adding more details.
Hope you like it!
